So I got a new job. Had an interview Wed. Yeah!
Better pay then my current job too. My current job wanted to keep me so bad though, they made me a counter-offer and actually met the new salary. Still, being supervisor of a photo store is not in my dreams no matter how much they offer me. So I said fuck em' My two weeks were given. They cant buy me.
Sad thing is, I probably would have more money if I stay at my current job with the new pay. I get commission and I have no transit expense. I drive and have a corporate gas card and free parking. My new job is in Manhattan, that means paying for gas again, paying for parking and paying for a train pass. Arg!!!
But there is room for growth in NYC. Not so much in small-town New Jersey. I think the new travel expenses are a headache worth coping with. Yes. Yea. Definitly. I hate my current job and most of the people. Its hard to leave a place where living is easy though. Especially for something that is a lot harder on your time and your finances. I think it is a good decision long-term though. . . . . Yea, Gimme some back up! Ive had a lot to think about lately.
ANYHOW! I have phone calls to make and research to do, and hopefully a bass to play, book to read, or pictures to take.
