This isn't about Halloween costumes anymore. However, it isn't about anything else either because I am supposed to be writing a paper proposal about social representationalism.

Holy confusion... The Fury is a wacky looking piece. I almost got a trainer last year... Maybe this Winter. Where are all the other bikes... and why are they scattered all over the mitt? surreal
misterdoom:
This Halloween costume thing is getting a little stale don't cha think? tongue

Frankenbike... Heh!! I like that. I haven't done a thing to mine. I just beat on it. It needs a good tune up before next season.

if you have time... you should come down to Detroit for one of our (SG Detroit) gatherings, events, etc... There's a few people out your way that show, up. You might be able to get a ride if needed. We like new people. smile

I have no heat.
The parts for the furnace won't be available until Monday. And I'm not sure how long afterward it will take them to fix it.
Brr.

The plot was simple, predictable, and boring. It was only a little over an hour long. The music was boring, which was yet another shocking disappointment because Danny Elfman was involved. The animation was a bit halting at times, which didn't happen in Nightmare. But most of all, it wasn't funny or unique or interesting or beautiful in any way. If it weren't the case that Tim Burton and Danny Elfman were involved, I would give it a mediocre rating. As it is the case that they were involved, it gets an abysmal rating. I expected more. Much more.

So I'm a TA and I teach 4 discussion sections a week...
I just got the review of my observation today...
BAD BAD BAD
Apparently teachers aren't supposed to sit all curled up in their chairs and awkwardly not move and not write on the board...
Teaching is lame.

Something needs to change.
I don't know what it is.
I tried cutting my hair but I think I'm done doing that now.
I am really incredibly unhappy with things. Nothing has really gone wrong (other than being sick), but it seems like nothing is right.

Now you tell me how you were in a situation like this and you changed something and it fixed...

I hate everything today. mad

I cut my hair because that makes me hate things less. I added barber shears to my amazon.com wishlist, which nobody ever looks at anyway.

I wish I had some chocolate.

I wish I could ride my bike.

I wish I didn't have to grade 600 essays by Thursday. blackeyed

hmmmm, geology and philosophy ... that is a tough one. i'm not sure platetektonics ever stopped to consider the Meaning Of It All. but surely crystals must yeild some sort of philosophical juice. interesting.

i actually have *no* idea where in the UP they were. now that sounds like an expletive! smile just where in the UP are you? hee.

feminist ethics sounds most excellent. i have a bit of a feminist bent to my studies, but mostly by way of radical body performance, which puts my work a bit at odds with the more accepted canonical feminists. luckily, there are a growing bunch of p-mods (p-fem p-mods now? gah) that are rallying around such radical chicks. yay.

i actually don't have any orchids at the moment, but i did have a gorgeous purple/pink/white one, and also an almost pure cream with red accents. *shudders* soooo pretty. and they are totally addictive. sadly, i inhereted my mother's brown thumb, and am like the angel of death to plants. argh.

hope you got some chocolate. hey, wanna new friend? biggrin
