When gamers go insane.
Saturday edit:
Not to be a downer or anything, but today is a very special personal day for me and my family. My father passed away October 14th 1983. I was eight years old. I was of course devastated. I think sometimes about how I might be different if he had lived longer. My mother tells me how similar I am to him personality wise, being quiet and mellow. There's a picture in my pics of my Gibson acoustic guitar that belonged to him. It's my most prized possession and the first thing I'd save in the event of a fire (after my cat of course). He didn't really know how to play much and I don't think I ever even saw him pick it up, but it's really the only thing that I have that was his and it's priceless to me. He may have even taken it with him when he hitchiked from Illinois to Haight-Ashbury.
I'm going to Austin today and then on to Dallas tonight to see my good pals all the way from Edinburgh, Scotland, Honeybug, play at Club Dada. I've known Nigel from the band through email for about 7 or 8 years and we finally get to meet in person. It's gonna be a blast.
