I just saw this:
http://www.campaignforrealbeauty.com/
Why is it that they only ever say how women are held to some distorted standard of beauty but never men. I was juat a step away from anorexia for a good part of this year to lose weight and lost a lot and still hate how I look. I have a list of cosmetic surgeries I'd get if only I could afford that's longer than the list of countries on W's Axis of Evil. There are plenty of guys with low self esteem because they feel society expects them to be attractive as well. Women are every bit as superficial as men and there are just as many atractive men selling things as you see attractive women selling things. I know that women are generally more susceptible to this, but it gets to me when they say men can look like whatever and it doesn't matter, because that's a load of bollocks. I don't necessarily want to look like say an Abercrombie and Fitch model (god knows I wouldn't be caught dead in the store) and I know that not every woman wants a guy that looks like that anyway but still my self-esteeem-o-meter drops a few ticks every time I see one of their billboards or I see some skinny rock star in cool clothes that I know I'll never have the body for.
This has nothing to with the above rant, but I thought it was funny. I don't think this is what they mean by "Service to God".
