I've got an interview in Austin next week! It's only an interview but I think my chances are pretty good. I'm qualified, it wasn't an advertised position so there's no competition as far as I know, and the person I'll be interviewing with is friends with a guy I used to work with who is still a good friend and who has offered to write a recommedation for me. It's a big petroleum company located right next to Zilker Park. They're a big company so hopefully they'll be able to offer me at least the minimum salary I'm willing to accept. Wish me luck!
