Well the fire department came to put out the powerline fire in our backyard about 3:30 in the morning.
Didn't have power til 3:30 this afternoon, which was awesome on one of the hottest, muggiest days of the year.
The tree branches still take up pretty much all of our nice little backyard.
Life goes on.

Yeah...haven't drowned yet. The creek is up to the office, though, so I've been eyeing some of the sturdier trees with an eye toward making a raft.

I went skiing for the first time in forever.
I flew, and then bit it in spectacular fashion.
It was amazing, it's been forever since I've tumbled 50 yards.
Snow is great.
I think I knackered my right knee a little.
