Had a very pleasant evening out last night. Went to Bedford's for jazz again and just generally chilled out. Then Adrian squeezed everyone in his car and took us back to james and sarah's where we continued the relaxed theme of the evening and talked about films and tv from our childhood until about half two. a classic student passtime.

Flashdance is one of those films that if I'm flipping through the channels and I see it, I have to watch it to the end. The only true negative of the film is when the old biddy dies for no real reason.
Dirty Dancing, on the other hand, is one of those 80s films that I can only really stand in clip form. Give me "Nobody backs Baby into a corner" and then Swazey doing the dive-roll leap from the stage before doing those little head bobs and I'm happy.
