Man, It's good to have SG back.
I ran out of money before because I started college and had to give up my hours at the medical research unit, but I got myself a job now, it's boring and the money is nowhere near as good but at least I get to share my time with you lovely people on SG.
I just got back yesterday from Georgia (Eastern Europe), it's such a beautiful country!
The beer is strong (12%) and easy to drink, so is the vodka, the traffic is really fast and erratic and enjoyable if you don't fear for your life....and the women are fucking gorgeous! I even managed to get a little smooch from one of the women I was working with there
The college I am at has established a working relationship with a brand new college in Tbilisi - the capital of Georgia -. Another student, a lecturer and I were filming the meeting between the two; it was so amazing to learn about both Georgian culture and film making, because that's what I want to do with myself in the end.
It was good to get away from all the things that were weighing me down and I have a more level head on my shoulders now than I did 4 days ago.
The downsides were that I was only there for 4 days and was working most of the time, the free time I had was spent fixing the cameras or eating and filming meals....I did get fucking plastered one night on this drink they have called Scja Scja (I think it was spelt, 80% tequila like stuff....fucking brutal), beer and vodka.
I also dropped one of the cameras on my foot and it's really swollen now....I might go to the doctor if the swelling doesn't go down by Monday.
OH! Air France are fucking dicks too, they lost our luggage then riffled through and stole from it....cunts.
One of the Georgians took a real shine to me and had a toast in my honour, he was so surprised how focused and inventive I was (apparently :\) and said if I behaved with women and treated people well I would go far. That made me pretty happy.
The girl I met might be coming across with her college (did I not mention she was a lecturer
?) and she said she would love to see Scotland with me, I don't see it going anywhere special but the important thing is someone took an interest in me and it's been a long time since that was the case.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy and it's good to be back on SG.
