"You cannot trust this boy. His mind has been corrupted by colours, sounds and shapes!"

Today's picture is Nat & Sadie, who are 1 year old on April 9th.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a builder like the guy next door. He'd take me out in his truck or his JCB...

I have a headache. Being single is getting me down.

I finished work yesterday evening and met up with a couple of mates intending to go to a restaurant. We arrive, and there's a que at least 30 long. They wanted to wait, I have an aversion to crowded places so I told them I was going home. A bit of a hissy-fit I admit,...

biggrin Good one.

I usually get through alright, this time all the bills turned up at once, a bit annoying. Luckily I wasn't up to much over the weekend.
cheech:
Yeah, I've left restaurants for being too crowded before.
And I've gotten pissed...well, right now. A nice Monday night drunk. I'm telling you, it's the best idea I've had all day; I just have to correct a fuck of a lot of typos.

I bought a new pair of boots last Saturday, 10 hole DMs in cherry red (!). Walking home from work because of a traffic jam, I managed to cripple myself with blistered heels. O the joy of new boots.

Higher taxes and better public services or worse services and lower taxes?

Long and thin,
Covered in skin,
Pink in parts,
Goes in tarts.

I went for a run today, not been for over 2 years and in that time I've grown 20lbs. I managed 3 miles so I'm happy. See how I manage tomorrow.

I'm off uni with reading week, but I have so much work to do that I'm going in anyway.

Currently reading "Our Word Is Our Weapon", the selected works of Subcomandante Marcos of the...

dude that is nothing... my cds have been in alphabetical order for about 10 years... I vacuum daily.. my clothes are in order of shirts, pants, skirts, and then they are subordered in colours and size... it usually goes red, black and then misc... because I rarely own anything that isnt red or black.. I even alphabetised my boyfriends cds and I organised his clothes like mine excepts his colours are blue and white..... when you start disinfecting things like I used to.. you need help... and I had to go and get help for it ... as I was a compulsive hand washer as well....
nch:
I've started running. Not often, just in the lunchtimes of days that are annoying me. Having never run before, not even for buses, the most I can manage is to the park, short loop, back to the gate, stop on the bench for twice as long as the run. Half a mile tops.

It's fun though! Headaches can't compete with legaches.

I'm going to have to lay off SG for the next month; I have 13500 words of assignments to research and write, and two presentations. I think I can feel a depression coming on.
maelwys:
That is a lot of work. Uni stuff is it?

Went mad in the bookshop yesterday and spent 45:

A Beginners Guide to Fidel Castro,
Selected Works of Subcomandante Marcos,
Stupid White Men, by Michael Moore
Che Guevara, by Jon Lee Andresonn

Who says I'm a leftie?

I have an absolute shitload of work to do in the next four weeks:

A presentation with 3000 word report on Immigration and Asylum,
A presentation with 1500 words on the decline in electoral turnout,
3000 words on the media's reporting of the Troubles in Northern Ireland,
1500 words on Malthus,
1500 words on Gladstone,
and 1500 words on US - Cuban relations.

Hmm. Better...

Your comment on the war thread is so right...! But how could you tell a member of SG staff that he is a cretin ?
He doesn't know half the story about the Greenpeace boat for example. And Americans tend to forget they all are European offspring. Well, their grand-parents slaughtered the real Americans...

I've been growing a beard this week. There are few sights more ridiculous than a man with weak facial hair trying to grow a beard.

Last week my starter motor broke. This week the indicator switch fell off. I maintain that it was a bargain buy.

I was awoken the other night by something biting my ankle. It itched like fuck and now it bleeds...

Unusual pic that. Nice pipe though smile

Revenge of Billy the Kid is a class film, very odd though. It doesnt compare to Braindead though, Braindead has to be one of the funniest gore comedies I've seen. And the lawnmower massacre at the end...brilliant. Nearly put me off my spaggetti on toast smile
maelwys:
The scene in Braindead was custard I think.

I think working for Dr Martens has given me a female boot fetish. Constant lacing up and fitting girls for knee length black leather boots has finally perverted my already fragile mind.

I love girls in Dr. Martens. You are damn lucky.

Red background is up, follow the same link above. Had it done 3 days ago but lost my net connection and then left town for a few days. Finding a shade of red that doesn't look f'ed up next to human skin wasn't easy. Hope you likey!

My cousin has just had his kneecaps smashed with a samurai sword.

I'm overjoyed!

He undoubtedly deserved it.
