alright...two things:
1. i was bored this morning so i put up my "struttin pup" pictures of animals looking silly.
2. along the same lines of that stupid job, visit this site...it's a guy i used to work with there who makes music. pretty good stuff. and it sounds as though he's currently living out of his van in tenessee from the travelling journal.
i didn't work last night so i brought my laundry home and got that started and then made my mom come to boulder and see "millions" with me. it was whimsical and had a good moral message. i was trying to explain the director, danny boyle, to my mom and i said, "yeah...he directed trainspotting. that's about heroin. and 28 days later....you saw that one, it has the sickness and the blood spewing...and the beach." and then half the theater patrons are probably under age ten and we see a whimsical movie with good morals.
tonight this crazy guy freaked out at me because he thought i lost/stole $5 of his. he just never handed it to me. he was too busy counting out the change. the poor girls with him were just saying, "shut up! we'll give you $5 when we get home. (to me) sorry! he's drunk all the time." and the guy's like "i had $11 when we left. $11!!! i need that $5 for gas and oil! are you sure you didn't put it in you register?" and at this point i'm yelling, "NO! the register doesn't automatically open for no reason while i'm standing here!!!!"
sometimes when i'm driving to work that song about the ghetto by akon or whoever that guy is goes through my head. you know, the one that sings "locked up".
i tried out my new radio as well today, at the rec center. my other one broke. this one is super lame looking but some of the stations sound better. i had 95.7 on and felt like i was at a dance party. but i was really at the rec center.
i'm going to see paul mccartney in november. this is how far in advance "grown-ups" have to get tickets to see their favorite singers, apparently.
