ahh...it's enchilada night....or afternoon. whichever, i'm starving.
school has been relatively laid back so far....we watched the first episode of the sopranos today in my italian culture and stereotypes class. and yesterday we watched a video in my "math" class about how gm ruined the electric cable car transit systems in most cities in the early part of the 20th century, put in buses, which were unreliable, made people hate public transportation, and eventually buy cars. another enriching math class!
i finally get a night off from subway....my only week night off on the scedule....hooray! this is where the responsibility part comes in....hopefully i'm able to turn the freaking tv off and actually get something done....but if mtv starts playing "room raiders" and "can i come in?" it'll be a lost cause...
okay...dinner time! at 2:30 pm.....
*added later
i'm stuck on this "math" question. it gives an anecdote about how when frogs are exposed to a chemical called atrazine, they usually die...HOWEVER the death rate is higher in frogs exposed to a more diluted form of this chemical than when it is in a high dose. it proceeds to ask:"can you give an explanation for this less is more lethal phenomenon?"
well....i would answer "no", because i can't. but i'm not sure if this is meant to be a yes/no question. so....i looked it up online. all i found was a bunch of articles on how atrazine "feminizes" male frogs.
someone....HELP!
