five days to dsl....
so my week in review since i last updated since it's relatively interesting....
sat: i went to toni's bridal shower and my group was the winner of the toilet paper wedding gown contest. i designed it...if my career in the environment falls through, i can always fall back on my tp-dress designing skills. i also got to see my old french teacher and toni's grandma, granny franny. the greatest lady ever. then i went home and watched the olympics where i discovered my love for men's swimming. ian thorpe....mmm....and then to applebees and toni's "bachelorette party" which was lame as expected. just drinking and weed-smoking and i almost fell asleep so i went home. and my key which hasn't been very smooth in the lock since i moved wouldn't go in. i freaked out. then i called shawna. then i walked to the gas station and got some wd-40. that stuff is my life-saving best friend.
sun: worked at struttin pup, went home, got nepalese take-out, and watched the olympics....mmm....vegetating.
mon: worked at subway during the day and then jeremy came in at 5 and had just seen napoleon dynamite. which made me want to see it again. so i did. by myself, even. then i went to the rec center but had to cut it short since all i had eaten in the last few hours was a box of gummi stars and i felt like falling over....
tues: wandered around my house until it was time to meet up for.....CURIOSA!!! we got there really early and staked a good lawn spot. in just one spectacular evening i saw: mogwai, the rapture, auf der maur, interpol, cursive, and the cure. during mogwai, shawna says, "car, look, it's tim kasher!" and tim kasher walked by! (for the unhip, he's the brilliant cursive frontman) so i went after him and got our tickets signed. TIM FREAKING KASHER!!! and then i told him, "i've seen you guys like five times" because that's the only dorky thing i could spurt out. i then got to see them for the sixth time and i was a very happy lady!
wed: went to the mall and got some blue crocs. it was a bandwagon that needed to be jumped on. i also got my first disc golf disc. shawna and her friend celia came over for a little bit....and then i watched the olympics...do we see a recurring olympics theme here? i truly love it when the boys swim. male gymnists are a little weird though. even though i did get into the end of male gymnastics when paul hamm won gold.
it's strange how boulder has become congested so suddenly. it also blows my mind that road construction is commencing RIGHT NOW at probably the worst possible time of the year....

Ignore me I'm still basking in sun...
Yes, my trip de-stressed me, but Boulder is doing a muy fantastico job of re-stressing
Back to school blues...
Sorry I didn't manage to get a new story last saturday. How was The Princess Bride (the movie without question rocks but nevertheless how was the evening?)
now hopefully we're mutually out of the dark and back!
