so i anticipated a frusterating day at subway not only because i had to go in at 9am, but because i had a whole weekend of my other job where the customers are quite a bit less moronic...and have much better hygiene. so i go in, the store smells funny, carrie's toddler is there with her because she hadn't met up with a sitter yet, there is no bread, and everything was behind. and then, the delivery truck came. so i decided early on to turn my head off....sure, i'm much more forgetful and clumsy when i'm on auto-pilot but things somehow got done and i hardly remember the day! except that me and julie were in the back singing assorted song lyrics to each other. she sang some "pedro the lion to me" so i sang to her this:

"you said: my life is like a bad movie.
i said: that's true of all of us.
you said: i've gotta wake up so fucking early.
i said: maybe the director's turned on us."

anyone who can guess that band wins a prize...i haven't thought of what yet.

i move in two days!
