soooo...i saw vast this evening. first show of the summer!!! vast was fantastic. the opening bands were....interesting. particularly vox demonna. yes, definitely them. apart from the fact that they made every one of their song titles so abundantly clear in their chorus, every song of theirs started out like rob zombie's "dracula".

the bluebird theater has been forcing us under 21-year-olds upstairs lately. which makes me sad i didn't get to see vast as close as i'd like too. not to mention, we were crammed up there with a very eclectic grouping of people including the most disgusting couple EVER getting a little too hot and heavy. the guy in the couple was absolutely greasy...complete with long, washed-once-a-month hair which the girl kept affectionately running her fingers through. ahh....you had to see them (and then quickly avert your eyes out of fear of becoming ill), they were something else.

cursive is on tuesday...i'm totally hyped. i also have tomorrow off...my first day off since...last monday! bah, it'll have to be a laundry day...
