Recent news. I applied for a GM position for World of Warcraft because everyone in QA thinks the axe is gonna fall soon. Had my interview on Friday and on Monday I emialed the GM Manager and told him I was not interested in the position becuase I thought it would interfere with where I wanted to go. He emailed me back and said he thought I would have made a good addition to the team but understood and that he hoped to see me around the halls for awhile longer. If I get laid off I will atleast have the incentive to work on my portfolio and hopefully get a design job somewhere in the industry. Also looking at going back to school for IT stuff.
