I have recently been thinking that a lot of what most religions say in their stories are no more or less silly than what you find in most comic books, so... doesn't it seem odd that nobody praises Batman's devotion, Spiderman's self sacrifice or The Hulk's power? After all it is not like any of them ever said to anyone "Hey you have faith in me right? To prove it drag your only child up a mountain and then kill him as an offering to me. You good with that? Cool." or told them when they can or cannot eat or explained that if you don't do what you are told you burn in eternal fire. Being honest the only prayer to any superhero I have ever heard was from Homer Simpson, which is probably a loss most religions could live with.
