Besides, I was being distracted by a pussy pirate. All she needs now is an eye patch and to take me on a boat. (ship!)
In other news, my boss came up to me a few weeks ago and told me about how he was planning to retire this year. So when he's gone, there will still need to be someone in the Bio department who knows where everything is. And he asked me if I wanted the position.
It's great! Effectively I'll be aprenticing to take over my boss's job, and that's like, AWESOME!!! I'll be the head laboratory technition for College of Marin's Biology department! And it comes with a raise and WAY more hours. The only downside is that my workdays will be starting at 7am. 
Coffee is going to be my new lover.
