i think joe put it best:
"the biggest problem with lonely people, is they will hang out with ANYONE, just to feel wanted. they'll talk shit about people, and look down on them, until they realize they have no one, and suddenly those who they hated, are now their best friends."
funny how those kind of things work. haha.
so kyle, april, sam, scott, a couple of sam's random friends, and myself went to the folsom show. it was very fun, faded grey did a great job and it was an overall great night. saw macko, brit, josh, and a few others and we did the happy dance. came home and talked to joe because he was drunk and felt like chatting about isis. hahaha. what a terd but i heart him and his silly dog. it's weird, but when he gets drunk, he has this enormous amount of intellectual insight about things and people, and he has this all mighty knowledge.
"some people are poison. they feel so crappy about their own lives, that when they come across people who have a lot going for them; loving families, money, happiness, popularity, pure happiness... they tend to drag these people down. their poison is depressing when you look at it. when they realize they can't destroy your happiness, they attempt to make you feel negative about yourself. they call you names and accuse you of things. they make you feel like you are just as worthless as they are. and when they realize they can't get to you in that negative aspect, they turn to changing themselves to be "better" than you, thinking as if you care. their life is a lie. they change themselves everyday, their attitude, their speech, their look, their aspect, their beliefs, just so that they can attempt to make an impact on someone else. it's the saddest thing I have ever seen in my life, and it makes me sad to know those people will probably die trying. and die alone."
for someone who is as young as he is (24), he has experienced so much, and learned so much. joe calls himself a "people-watcher". he has spent his life watching how people are, and how they ruin their own lives. people talk shit about people one day, and kissing their asses the next. people who pretend to be the happiest people alive, and cry when they think no one can see them. i used to just look at joe as a funny stoner/drunk that had dirty jeans.. but he is much more than that. he's spectacular.♥
now, its time to get dressed and get ready to go play tag with april and sammiepantalones.
