whats worse than finding a dead fish in the morning?
running almost a mile, at a full sprint, to catch a poodle named "Crash" who escaped from the shelter.
today was insanity. i dont think i have EVER ran that far, that quick, with no care as to whether or not i would drop dead after my fat behind made a bee-line for the ca-nine. total madness. luckily the animal control officer saw me running and helped me out, and then dwayne caught up. we finally caught the dog, 2 streets away from the shelter, in an industrial workzone.. how fun is that. mmhm.
so now i suppose i will be juggling two jobs for the next few weeks. it wont be that bad. "full" time with the shelter, and part time with the personal asst job. its going to be a little hectic and i wont ever be home, but i suppose that is a good thing because when im home, i think too much about shit and i get angry.
my dad calls me today while i am working, and decides to tell me all about his escapades at the bar and how the bartender, michelle, is a total hottie and he asked her out, and brought her soup cause she wasnt feeling well. he's a weirdo. its like he has to tell me how cute he was for her, and how she made him feel like he was 15 again.. i have to remind him... he is 60 and he is being a nerd. hah.
so drew and i are going to go to syracuse, ny in July. I have some awesome trips coming up in the next 7 months.
Feb: houston, tx to see some of my moms family and an amazing texan in san a.
April: new jersey (brick and trenton) for New england fest 05
June: miami for some fun in the sun
July: road trip to syracuse with the cousin to cause some mayhem at hellfest 05.
but yeah... must focus on now.. school starts back up soon, but thats okay cause i know a lot of people who are finally transferring over to unlv from ccsn. "how stellar" i had to make a last minute petition with the academic advisor, so i could take an extra class, since i am taking on 18 credits. but it wont be that bad, because the class i petitioned for, is in the same line as one of my other classes. kill two birds, with one stone. mm yea.
now, its time for a hot bubble bath, my new Dean Koontz book, and.. hm yeah. thats about it.
xoxo
