We have until January 1, 2005 to come up with over 4 million dollars, in order to save our shelter.
We are at... 475,200 as of today. Fox 5 here in Vegas did a huge event for us all morning long... people kept calling in and calling in... it was fantastic. I pray that this will keep going.
We have about 5 months to get every little bit we can. I never thought it could be so hard. With so many animals, you just have to wonder why this has to happen like this.
While I am in California, I plan to spend one day going to the 7 shelters in San Diego and the 5 shelters in South LA. I want to see what they have. What they are doing. If they have any suggestions. San Diego's SPCA just opened a 3 story no-kill shelter. I saw the pictures, it is perfect. I can't wait to see it.
on a lighter note... Sparrow decided that climbing up onto my entertainment center and taking a swim in the fishtank, would be fun. Silly kitten. She is too damn cute. I have a whole roll of pictures of her that I have to scan onto here and post her up. She is the cutest.
ohhhh and tonight... I am taking a break from all the upset and stress... and going to see Black dahlia murder and Cannibal Corpse! ha!ha!ha! thank god for last minute concerts... buh buh buh

oh yea... and I had some old man tell me today "seeing you... makes me forget I have alzheimer" WHAT THE HELL! hahahahaha That made... no sense... but it was funny... he was praising me... calling me "hottie"... it was fantastic. old grandpa guys rock!@!
