i was on the news today! heh, it was really cool. i was going to work this morning and when i got there, there was this little box, duct taped with a note that said "im sorry". when I opened it, it was a momma kitty and 6 little kittens. along with it, was a little teacup of water, some dry food scattered in the box, a couple McDonalds half and half creamers, and a bunch of ants, crawling all over the babies. so my boss and i rushed them into the building, got them cleaned, and took them to our "cat condos"... got them a little secret room with blankets and good food... clean water. it was amazing.
so now.. i have to come up with names for all the kitties.. patty and i were thinking of a "flutter" theme. so far we have Sparrow, Butterfly, Scarlet *the mommy cause she has a scarlet red nose*, and we have 4 more kittens to come up with... so I need help!!! Names Names Names!!! please
so yeah - news. news13 came to the cat condos while i was working, and did a big interview with "homeless pets and the horrible amount of and population of strays". it was great, we talked about how over 500 animals in NV alone, die every day due to over populated shelters. and how dumping baby kittens is at sky high. its so sad. but they got a cool close up of Sparrow, chasing me through the halls. it was cute.
