i'm back from tour.

it was amazing.

we met so many cool people, played some great shows, and get this:

if you don't count buying the trailer (which i conveniently will not count as a tour expense) then the band made about $300.. which is gargantuan. huge. amazing. of course, we did buy the trailer, so that $300 doesn't exist anymore.. but we made it. briefly. amazingly.

so yeah.. good times!

hopefully next time we go out, we can get the band to pay some kind of per diem for food.. because as it stands, I spent a ridiculous $600 while we were out.. which basically consisted of food, alcohol ($$$$), cds, magazines, books, and any other random entertainment. i really need to get better about that. i was doing alright for a few weeks, but i slipped near the end.

now i'm back home for the time being. i need to find a job before the holidays. in january, the band is relocating either to richmond or harrisonburg. (i think richmond is the most likely.. harrisonburg is a shithole) so if anyone is from richmond and knows a lot about the area.. any advice would be greatly appreciated. we need a band-friendly environment.. (no row houses )

okay enough rambling. glad to be back. glad to finally get on SG again.
