Wowsers what a day!
It all started when my uncle woke me up a like 7 am, how bloody early is that! Esspecially on my day off!
Good old Uncle Sprag lives on property and had busted a carpet snake eating his baby chickens the previous day. Usually he would of killed it but luckly my Aunty Michelle was there to save the day by not letting him kill it because it was just a carpet snake and it needs to eat the chickens just as much as they do hahaha. Never the less he didn't want it on his property and seeing as though i already had snakes he decided i might like it! Like hell i wanted a wild carpet snake! and a 5 foot one at that. So here i was at 7 am this morning holding a bag with a wild snake in it thinking what the hell am i meant to do with this!
I touched it and it seemed friendly enough so i put it in my cupboard out of my cats reach and went back to sleep for a while.
I woke up still thinking what the hell will i do with it, then i remembered my neighbours had an old massive snake cage from when they used have snakes so i took it over there and put it in.
I have never slammed a door so fast in my life, the snake that was so friendly in the bag turned in to a savage stricking machine.
So i called my friends sister to the rescue and she was happy to take it off my hands.
The next step was getting it out of the enclosure. I wasn't putting my hand in there again so i tried with a snake hook still no success all it wanted to do was eat the hook, so i gave the hook to my friends sister and she got it out. She was so brave! Once it was out it was ok though.
It was so beautiful and very healthy, i guess that was all my uncles chickens!
anyway it was still only a young one and i am positive it will settle down and make a great pet!
So that was my adventurous day.

my friend lives in upstate NY. in a wooded area. they had bear season a couple of weeks ago. one of there neighbors shot one and only wonded it, now they had a mad hurting bear in the area every thing turned out ok. the bear went dep into a state park bourdering the area and it looks like it will live. but it will stay away from people from now on.
