Hooked on Tarantino's "Hostel"
Saw this movie a couple weeks ago, and resaw it yesterday thanks to a promo that was unlocked on the ppv channels free of charge.
I seriously can't get enough of this film! Not only is it Tarantino at his warped best in the feel of it all (yes I know HE didn't write this one, but you can always tell WHY he was drawn to be "THEE GUY" to get it done by the sick style).
The premise of the film itself is wicked, BUT, the thing that was pointed out to me by the person I watched it with the first time, that one couldn't miss anyways, was the fact that even though ONE of the victims IS a victim, there's NO hesitation to the fact that he can kill without thought or apparant remorse. The whole movie rocks! Some say "Not for the squeemish" but I've seen worse.
And if you ARE a Tarantino fan, there's also a flick out there that not many people know about that I loved. Black Comedy that he discovered at a film festival as a short and made it feature length called Curdled. The main character in it is totally warped and there's an awesome twist at the end. Be sure to watch his interview in the added bonuses section too!
