I have one primary impression of Egypt: The people living here now are most certainly not the ones who built the pharonic temples and pyramids.
Aaack. I'm overwhelmed by stuff I need to do now that I'm back "home."
I've got 6 little chips of limestone from Khafre's Pyramid at Giza if anyone would like one. E-mail me your US Mail address and I'll send one along. The first 6 lucky SG members win!
And please, no lectures on my absconding with valuable relics! If you ever saw how the present Egyptians maintain the one remaining "7 Wonders of the World," you'd agree a pilfered handful of loose limestone chips is the least of their problems! BTW, Khafre's Pyramid is said to comprise over 3 million stones, each weighing around 2.5 tons.

I want some tangible history. You already have my address as well. Hope there is still some left

Yeah, you've got mine to. Honey for ancient bit of priceless relic? Seems like a fair trade.
