My kitty is sick. I took her to the vet, and she didn't want to come out of the carrier, so the vet and I turned it upside and kind of shook her out, and then she lay there panting and quivering on the table. The vet thinks the vomiting is hairball induced, so she gave me some hairball medicine to give to Pearl. I bring her home and let her out of the carrier, and she immediately scurries under the bed. A few hours later I give her the medicine, which she loves. Literally two minutes later she pukes up everything in her stomach, first on the bed (I bought a shower curtain specifically to put on the bed because she's been puking so much), and then on a newspaper I put her next to on the floor. She was heaving until there was nothing left to come up. Then she went under the bed and stayed there for a while. She probably thought I was trying to kill her! First the vet, then giving her stuff that made her really sick.... The vet didn't say anything about this possibility. I took her food away so that her stomach and esophagus can have a chance to recuperate. I'll call the vet tomorrow morning.

Was it Laxatone that they gave you for the hairballs? that stuff is WIERD but it shouldnt make her puke...in theroy its supposed to make the hairballs...slide...out...its pretty strange but cats LOVE it because it tastes like meat or something..
