Maple syrup job lasted one week. I quit on Friday. Couldn't take it. It was SO FUCKING BORING. I start making christmas wreaths on Tuesday. Pays less, and not as many hours, but I couldn't take the syrup factory for much longer. People kept telling me that there is a lot of advancement possibilities - cause I really want to work at a fucking syrup factory for the next 40 years. That was the most depressing part.
I'm going to seriously start looking for a real job now. I can move in January. Wahoo! I'm thinking about pathologist assistant work. Morgues = dead people = little conversation. Or just one-sided conversations. Or some kind of environmental testing company - chemical analysis of water, soil, etc. I really don't want to work for a pharm compay, but I'll take anything at this point. And I'll go where the jobs are. I don't think there are jobs in Ann Arbor. A friend of mine just got a job in Boston with a pharm company. I like Boston. I'm applying to jobs all over the country, though. And if they want to interview me, I get a free trip to wherever. Sweetness.
