Haven't been checking in as much as i usually do. One of the few benefits of living on campus was ethernet. Dialup is so slow! At least it's something.
Graduation was long. And wet. and cold. I got up at 5am cause my brother needed to go to the emergency room (rope burn he got a few days before got infected cause he WOULDN'T STOP PICKING AT IT). Anyway, I got an early start. My brother was fine, the doc just shot him full of antiobiotics and wrapped his finger up.
It was drizzling throughout most of the ceremony, and didn't warm up until the right around the time I went up to get my diploma. Which wasn't actually my diploma, just a stupid thing saying I'd get my diploma in the mail. The day wasn't too bad. I mean, I graduated. It would have had to pour, with thunder and lightning, to really screw it up.
Now I have to find a job. Joy. Want to stay in the area - the idea of moving to a new place, trying to find an apartment and a person to live with cause I probably won't be able to afford a one bedroom just isn't very appealing.
Might work for the Red Cross as a lab tech. They're hiring. I'm qualified. Pay probably sucks, though, and apartments are expensive. And it's only part time. Job could be cool, though. Hmmmm.
