Sitting alone in an efficiency apartment in New Orleans while listening to the Dolls.... I'm so bored. I want to go out, but no one to go out with. I'm visiting my brother, but he has to work nights. At least I have air conditioning.
Overall, this city is too hot and there's too much vomit on the street. This morning I went out and Bourbon Street smelled so bad I thought I was going to puke. The mixture of trash, horse shit and the vomit, piss, etc from humans, in 90+ degrees, makes for a very unpleasant odor.
I will be back in good old New England on Monday.
