Wow, two months since I last posted a blog. Where has the time gone? I have been very busy lately with my new job, working on the house, playing poker and my business.

I am finally done with all of my training for my job at the jail. I got shot with the taser a couple weeks ago. It was not nearly as bad as I had expected it to be. It only lasts for 5 seconds and once the darts are removed it is over. Now the OC spray, on the other hand, sucks. I got sprayed last night and it is something I hope to never have to do again. My face didn't stop burning for almost two hours. Then when I got home and took another shower the burning started all over again. A mental note to everyone out there - OC SPRAY SUCKS!! If I had a choice I would take a shot from the taser any day.

I have been working on a new website for my tactical gear business. I hope to go live with it on November 1st. This has been a huge undertaking for me and I really hope that all the work is worth it. I am also going to be taking an NRA Pistol Instructor Course next month. I will be teaching Iowa concealed carry classes by December. I will also be offering individual pistol instruction. I am going to St. Paul, MN to see the Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler concert November 7th. It is going to be an amazing show!
