One week after my knee surgery and the healing process is going well. I had the stitches taken out today and I start my physical therapy on Wednesday. I hope to be back in shape for the Des Moines Half Marathon in October.

How's your knee doing now?

The knee is doing great! I have finally started to run again. I see the doctor next Monday for my last follow-up appointment. Now I'm just waiting for all the doctor and hospital bills to start coming in.
It looks as though I am going to be out of commission for running a while longer. I have a tear in my patellar tendon and a torn meniscus in my left knee.
I go in for surgery on May 3rd, wish me luck!
