Last friday I went to that Scorpions show I mentioned, and it was amazing! They're exactly what a rock band should be - great presence, intensity, energy, they grab the audience's attention, they're loud, etc.!
My favorite part was, I think, when Jabs did his guitar solo, and then he pushed the locking tremolo down to almost cease the sound of the guitar... and by almost I mean there was left a huge, loud growl like GRRRRR coming from the amplifiers and the whole place started to tremble!!! That was INSANE! I've never seen anyone do such thing with the guitar!

This is me and my girlfriend. We actually bought seats because the tickets for the floor were very expensive... so we were a bit far from the stage, but I don't think that spoiled the fun at all! In fact, I had never seen a concert from above, and it's a complete different experience... this way you can actually see that each band member has a big area of the stage to cover... and Scorpions made that stage look small this is what a real rock band should do!
And finally, I got this:

A drum skin, autographed by drummer James Kottak!! He autographed only twenty of these, and there were 40.000 people at that concert, so I can say I'm pretty lucky to have got one!!! Whooo, what a day, what a day!
