hmmm....let's see...time for an update methinks.
Lately, I've been tinkering more and more with Linux. Debian, Fedora/Red Hat, Suse, Gentoo (couldn't install it, yes I'm a dumbass), ubuntu, Mempis, and now I'm downloading Mandrake and slackware. I'll find the right distro for me yet! Actually, I really like SuSE right now. I just don't like the way how some of it is set up, feels too proprietary and not open enough. Dunno tho, could just be me.
Doing some research online, I've discovered some exciting news for me at least. There are a BUNCH of concerts coming in the next few months:
Sun 02/13/05 Entombed, Crowbar @ Penny Arcade
Fri 02/25/05 Behemoth, Suffocation @ Penny Arcade
Fri 03/04/05 Atreyu, Norma Jean, Scars of Tomorrow, Unearth @ Water Street Music Hall
Thu 05/12/05 Death Angel, If Hope Dies, Kreator/Vader @ Penny Arcade
I'd rather see bands like Sevendust, God Forbid, KSE, Fear Factory, and Slayer come, but I guess it will do. If I could only go to one of those I'd go to the Atreyu one. I seriously want to see them live. I missed a hell of a show when they came the last time.
So, anyone else wanna join me? We can grab plates at Irondequoit Hots or Tahou's later on
And who ever said Six Pockets on Hudson and Ridge hasn't got any nightlife, is DEAD wrong! Friday night, I saw the most amazing sight. I've never seen this anyone but on the net or in a strip club. Sittin there , drinking my pint of Blue. Watching these two girls, talking to my buddy about shit that doesn't matter. He gets up to put some money in the jukebox. One of the girls looks at me, and then all of a sudden they both kissed. And the other girl whispered something to the other and they both got up. I ran over to my buddy and told him that he missed a sight and I ran outside to grab a smoke, all intentions of seeing where these girls where. No sooner do I light my smoke and I see the girls get in a car together and take off. Yeah, you know what was gonna happen when they got back home!
Speaking of bars, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU PUT A TIM' HORTON'S ACROSS THE STREET FROM A BAR?????????? Tim Horton's is a doughnut/bagel place. And we all know doughnuts attract cops. I go back inside after witnessing this kiss, and tell my buddy that there are about 6 cops over at Horton's. We better leave early because they're gonna catch everyone comin out of here at 2AM.
Now previous in the night I had 4 pints of Blue and a shot of Jager. I was pretty buzzed, and I probably shouldn't have driven home. Luckily, the cop that followed me out of the parking lot sped up and passed by me.
Now it's back to work tomorrow. God the weekend is too damn short!

I'm not a very good guitarist yet but for the last couple of weeks I have started trying more and more to become one. I haven't played for a long time with electric guitar. I'm much better at fingerpicking guitar and especially with synth cuz I've played much more with synth and stuff like that. But I'm trying my best from now on Because allmost all our songs need electric guitar.
Only thing that helps me with guitar is a good sense of rythm atleast..but I have a looong way to go. And all this technical stuff has started to get to my nerves
"The other hot chick" is my band mate. Isn't she cute? She is probably the most supportive person I have ever known. She allways keeps telling me how she believes I'm gonna be a good guitarist some day and how fast I have proggressed and stuff like that. And we both make songs.
She is really talented also and well...haha I just cannot get enough of praising her. I think I am a luckiest person because I met her and we started to make music together.

i was like 15, and my parents werent home. i was watching my brothers and they wanted pancakes. so i put a little oil on the griddle and turned on the stove. but then a whole bunch of boys came over, and they were playing basketball in my driveway and i went outside to hang out. a few minutes later the smoke alarms were going off, and there was black smoke. and it smelled soooooo bad.
moral of the story- its all my parents fault for leaving a boy crazy teenager in charge.
