ok, I'll try not to be so depressing in this entry.....mmmkay?
Well, shit did fly at my full-time job. I found out there was an opening at another store from one of my friends. So I approach my manager about it. "Oh, well, I didn't realize you liked doing that department, so when we had the opening here, I didn;'t bother to ask." Excuse me? So I am not capable of making my own decisions? So he says he'll see what he can do......after he gets back from vacation next week! Oh well....I'll just chalk al this up to experience, and then fuck them when it's over. Shit on your best workers, will ya? We'll see about that.....
I guess the only good thing with my full-time job happening is that I will no longer be interim supervisor. wOOt!!! Of course, that means I also have to deal with the dipshit supervisor ffom the other department, we'll call him Supreme Commander, or Supremo for short. Supremo was promoted earlier this year over me and several other people by our old incompetant manager. He has no knowledge of how to interact with customers because he was a receiver for the 5 years he was with the store! He is an asshole to say the least. One guy for sure will quit when he finds out. I don't care. It's not my responsibilty anymore. I can't wait until the new extra manager comes. Then I get my store keys taken from me to give to her. Yeah, 2 years as a keyholder and my role has been diminished from an opening and closing manager to an easy way for the opening and closing managers to sit in the office and do nothing while I work three jobs at once. I'm pissed off that i will lose the keys, but I'm also excited about less responsibility. I cannot get money taken away because I'm not being demoted, even though everyone sees it as a demotion for me. I don't care. I just want to go in, do my fucking work, and go home. This supervisory shit sucks ass anyways. One more week and I'm home free!
Random Thoughts:
1. Why do socks always end up dissappearing after you wash them?
2. If you were to die today, would you be happy with what you've accomplished in life?
3. If you were to die today, how many people do you think would show up at your funeral?
4. How are we the greatest nation on Earth when sometimes it feels like we are a third world country statisticly?
5. Why do pro atheletes make millions of dollars a year, when people who bust their ass (like teachers, factory workers, construction workers, etc.) make barely enough to be considered middle class?
