So I went to look at the mobile home yesterday.
Needs some work. Rough around the edges. But I think it's liveable for a couple of years until I can get money to make the needed repairs. It really is in good condition. Just needs a few coats of paint in some spot, and it''s all good. I'm just concerned about some soft spots in the floor, and there appears to be water damage on the ceiling in the kitchen.
It's a nice place, and I can really see myself living there. Things just need to fall into place for me to get it. First of all, I am going to have a girl from work's husband come over and check it out. He's a contractor. He doesn't do inspections, but he's got a good eye for stuff, and if he thinks it's not worth it for me to try and fix, then he'll tell me. This way I can save money on an inspection if I don't need one. Then, if all goes well with the "pre-inspection", I'll be more aggressive on the financing, which is turning into a nightmare to be able to find. Once I can secure financing, I will need to get the home inspected. Then I will need to apply for lot rent at the park. Then we should be set. I'm just confused as fuck about whether I need to get a lawyer or not. Things I've been reading on the net, make it seem like mobile homes are not considered real estate, therefore do not require deeds? So I take this to mean I don't need a lawyer? I'm a first-time homebuyer who knows shit about real estate and home improvement. Put a empty computer case in front of me and drop some computer parts on the side of it, you'll have a new computer in no time. Home repairs and shit like that are TOTALLY new to me, same as auto repairs, which I'd like to get into at some time too. Just so I can at least change my oil on my own, ya know? LOL
So, it looks like my "master dream" is finally coming together. I finally know what I want in life. The "master dream" is to be on a HUGE lot of land (10+ acres) with trees surrounding the whole lot and the house set far back and green grass growing for a few acres with the trees on the rest of the acres. A fire pit, possibly a pond, a house (but initially I want to move the mobile home on the land and build a house on thte land). A small pickup truck and a motorcycle in the garage. A big dog would be nice too. Parties every weekend that it's nice out, with enough room for people to crash (keys would be locked in a safe until the next morning when _I_ would be sober), and just an overall awesome place to live.
Unforunately, I can't seem to see a woman in that dream. And if I do meet a woman, I would not comprimise this dream. I have NEVER had any dream come true in my life, never been able to follow through with anything, and this is one thing I NEED to do. I'm thinking probably by 10 years from now I should at least have the land, the mobile home moved, the pickup truck, the dog, and possibly the motorcycle.

strange concept
Here's a song that you might like...
Pain - Shut your mouth
The only thing I ever wanted, the only thing I ever needed
is my own way - I gotta have it all
I don't want your opinion, I don't need your ideas
stay the fuck out of my face, stay away from me
I am my own god - I do as I please
just wipe your own ass and - shut your mouth
I had enough and you're going down - shut your mouth
what comes around you know goes around
my mind is playing tricks on me
I am not as stable as I used to be
pushed and shoved, you know you're going too far
I will not break my back for you no more, I am gonna go my
way
I am gonna take control
time to wake up and dig myself out of this hell
just wipe your own ass and - shut your mouth
I had enough and you're going down - shut your mouth
what comes around you know goes around - shut your mouth
shut your mouth
I had enough and you're going down - shut your mouth
what comes around you know goes around
shut your mouth
shut your mouth
