back after 2 weeks abroad.. and i wasn't happy about coming back to this empty lifestyle i'm livin. and i'm tired of big city london.. i don't wanna be a city boy anymore. too many people, too hectic, too depressing and i hate having to rely on public transport (which is crap right now)
even though the holiday was short, it seemed like a lot longer though. it feels weird being back, like i been away for ages, but i haven't.
i missed my room though.. i'll be sure to take it with me when i move
i didn't take as many pics and videos as i would've liked while there, but even what i took, i can't access it right now coz i came back without a significant wire that connects my camcorder to my laptop and it wasn't entirely negligence on my part - so fuck my friend for givin me back the wrong fuckin wire! dammit!
but he found it today and will be sending it tomorrow... so now i gotta wait. it would've been easier though if i wasn't impatient...
so no new holiday pics as of yet. but here's some more art i found and love....
watched War Of The Worlds while i was there. i liked it, but i wanted to see more. more destruction that is. but why is it that the general idea of aliens should always be this ugly big headed wide eyed creatures? ET, independence day, and so on..
for once i'd like to see some aliens that are fuckin beautiful in a human way, and even more so, rather than a mix of reptile, insect or whatever. ah well.
i won't say what i got up to during my holiday yet until i get some pictures up, but it was also my mom's birthday during my stay so ended up spending more time with mommy than usual, coz i never usually do. this consists of afternoon movies, but being my mom and taking her religion and beliefs seriously (she wanted to go become a nun of all things!) the films she watches are sex-free, violent action-free, and curse-free (at least not the really bad words )
*sigh*
anyway.. for her birthday she wanted me to watch two movies with her.. Shall We Dance and The Pianist... this was my reaction -->
one had dancing in it (which i'm reeeally not into) and jenifer lopez - who i don't like.
and the other is set during the war and has a lot of piano in it, which depressess me to an extent.
anyway... ended up watching Shall We Dance and really liked it
but i really wanted to avoid watching The Pianist so went down to the video store and tried desperately to find some suitable PG movies for my mom. it wasn't easy.. but i went home with Back When We Were Grownups - she lasted 15mins then said she found it boring...
*but there's no swear words or sex scenes in it!* i told'er..
but can't win'em all i guess...
next up was Piesces Of April. that went down very well!. and I really really liked it too. Score!
then another day i got her Around The Bend. she lasted about an hour then said she found it too boring. and sadly it was - even though Christopher Walken was in it.
but at least i got out of watchin The Pianist - hurrah!
also watched The Machinist for myself. i told my sis to watch it with me which was a mistake, coz she kept sayin what a stupid movie it was throughout most of it. and the rest of the time she kept askin me questions that you obviously can't know the answers to. *sigh*
thanks to everyone who asked about me during the London thing last week. i was overwhelmed and surprised. i guess i was surprised coz it's not somethin you expect to happen to you. for years i've been reading and watching about other countries and the shit that happens, but you don't quite expect it to happen on your doorstep! so it was kinda weird.
i want this! (there's only the one apparently) site has music too!
it's a bike! but a really special bike...

The Punisher is so fucking awesome. It's so friggin brutal, it's ridiculous. I'm sorry I didn't see it in the theater, that would've been a fun time.
Yeah, the Ghostbusters did have their own song...but Huey Lewis said "FUCK YOU" to Ray Parker, JR. and sued his ass for plagiarizm. owned.
gotta love the topsy-turvy world of the music business.
