I had to make a painful decision this week.
My cat has been very ill for a long time and he was getting worse and worse. He had severe water retension problems and I had to give twice daily saline water injections to keep him alive. His kidneys were failing so the water he drank went straight through him. He was diabetic so I had to give him daily insulin too!
So having spoken to the vet about it, poor old Tom was put down. He fell into my arms with his eyes fixed on mine as the overdose of anaesthetic took him away. Goodbye Tommy Tubs.
