Why do I seem to always have a hangover when I fill in my journal these days
Have had a rough old week. However it's ended on a bit of a high. Went out for my mate's birthday last night and had a cracking night, lots of beer, vodka, tequila and Aftershock and I even got up on the dance floor which I've not done i a long time. Unfortunately my dancing skills leave a lot to be desired, but hey, what do I care.
I'd had a bit of a difficult one during the week, my breakup with my ex got worse, I don't know how it could but it did. It's such a shame because we were best friends and truly devoted to each other, but now every time we talk, things just go bad. It's down to both of us, we just seem to keep hurting each other and I don't think either of us realises just what we're doing. I just can't understand how when the love still seems to be strong, that we can't be together, but our lives are just in such different places and we're diverging more and more. I'm sad that we can't bring ourselves together, but we have to focus on different things and it just pulls us further apart. I can actualy see the gap now, it's weird, i never thought there would be a gap like this and it's even weirder knowing that we're probably never going to try to fill it.
Every experience you have changes you and you, but it's up to you to ensure it changes you for the better and that's what I hope I can ensure for me.
Back to the high end to my week though...
I'm off to Japan in 3 weeks, unfortunately it's business so it means going to Hiroshima rather than Tokyo which is one of my top 10 travel wishlist destinations and I'll prob have to work like a slave but still, I'm going to Japan and I'm going to be there for several weeks . I'm going to try to get to Tokyo one weekend when I'm there too. Have already been given a list of crazy Japanese items to bring back for people lol. One of my friends said I have to bring her back something weird and Japanese for her but it's up to me what I get. She then text me 2 mins later to ensure that I didn't go to one of the worn knickers vending machines they apparently have over there for her present! I mean, would I buy her something like that
I'm really chuffed about Japan though, can't wait!

I think you should bring a whole vending machine back and set the system up in this country. Make a fortune, buy Japan.
I am hopingplanning to go to Amurricah sometime this summer. Land of the free, home of the doughnut. I am going to charm some rich tycoon with my quirky English ways and thorough knowledge of tea-making.
