Well the other day I finally got a great day of flying in. It was 58 degrees, calm wind and LOW humidity! So I decided to do a little cross country flying. I found some wide open, empty pastures and did some real low flying. I would come inches from the ground and then go full throttle...would climb like a rocket!! About 500 feet, I would reduce power to descend back to just inches off the ground. MAN I love flying these!! Well... I popped up again and then I realized there was a cemetary right past the trees and a burial in progress. There was about 30-40 people all in black watching me. They seemed pretty interested, so I decided to give them a closer look. I Did a few steep turns, then lined myself to fly right over. I was about 50 feet high, and I could see the preacher. He kinda looked like he was squinting to see me better. You could really tell some people were acting like they didnt really want to be there. I wasnt sure if they were enjoying my way of showing my last respects for the departed, so I decided to go full power and climb up again....then I cut power and did some fairly tight spirals. Im real big on safety so I don't do these that tight. Some of the folks down there were REALLY waving to me! It's really neat cause any other aircraft wouldnt have received such enthusiasm!! I did about 4 more fly-bys and then decided I better get going. It was a flight I won't soon forget...and hopefully I made some sad folks smile!!
The REAL truth to the story is that I DID have a great flight similar to that one...and I DID see a cemetary...but it was nearing sunset and of course there was no funeral going on.

Hope all is well
