This is very bad news.
Bolton is a war monger.
Of all the scary things this administration has done thus far, this scares me the most.

I know what you mean. Trump's Mid-East foreign policy has so far been okay. He hasn't really done very much. John Bolton is only one of the Bush-era neocons. Don't think he'll have the equivalent influence that Wolfowitz and Perle had over Bush, for example. Hard to predict the future, though. There's a BBC documentary called "The War Party" on Youtube that's very good. Check it out.

Unfortunately I don't believe the future, in this case, is so hard to predict. Just a month ago, Bolton wrote about the legality of a preemptive strike on North Korea (arguing FOR it). He WANTS war. He was too extreme even for the Bush era GOP, which speaks volumes. To have him of all people whispering in the president's ear... it's not difficult to see where we could be headed. I'll check that out, for sure. Thanks.
