Tonight was perfect. After months of waiting I got to see Thy Art is Murder live. They were fucking amazing. It was, as expected, the most brutal show I've been to (at least four people were knocked out) but there was such a sense of respect and camaraderie that as soon as someone went down, the crowd cleared and made room. The pit was absolutely hardcore (I was on the front line the whole time) but safe and respectful. Every band sounded so goddamn good. They were all phenomenal. Amazing, truly. My pictures didn't turn out well but my memories will be forever.
