vyeseleph and I watched Bubba Ho-tep last night. Well, I watched it. VSLF got bored pretty early on.
It's such an appealing concept: Elvis (played by Bruce Campbell!) and JFK (a black man) team up to battle a mummy that's terrorizing their nursing home. Sounds good, right? Even the description is entertaining! The film adds zero entertainment value. The writing is flat, the direction is poor. Agh. And there was such potential for a great film.
In other news: the fact that I still don't have an X-Box yet— well, it's just silly. Something needs to be done.
