Xmas was a delicious dinner and Dance Dance Revolution with some friends. It was a group of two atheists and four jews.
We had some of the same friends over for dinner last night. We drank Tilburg's Dutch Brown Ale and watched Anything Else. Please click the link and take a look at the logo for TDBA and tell me what you see. It was quite the topic of discussion. A bird/human sitting in a chair with a cauldron on its head and swallowing the naked lower half of somebody with birds flying out their ass. And the birdguy has an extra set of nude human legs. That sound about right? I hear it's Bosch.
Anyway: Anything Else. You may recall seeing the preview for this movie, which is about a young couple's (Jason Biggs and Christina Ricci) relationship. You may not have realized that it's a Woody Allen movie, because he was nowhere to be seen in the preview. It was really really awful. Do not rent it. If it's on a plane, take a nap instead.
And last night was yet another SGNY soiree, this time at the Shack. I had a good time, but at some point I think I was struck by a cosmic ray and lost all my mojo and turned invisible. Fortunately, I gained it back in the end, and I can corroborate that the VSLF had a fabulous time.
