Yikes. What does it mean if a member disappears without a trace? Is that membership lapse or The Dreaded ZOT?

Thanksgiving plans are coalescing... it's going to just be a quiet dinner with some friends. And drinking all afternoon of course. Tell me, do you ever go around the table and have each person say what they're thankful for? Or is that strictly a sitcom conceit?
