If you're going to tell me I'm too skinny, I see nothing wrong with telling you you're too fat.
It's 7:00am. I'm buying raspberry danishes at one of the local pastry shops when the lady at the register says, "You need to eat more; you're too skinny."
I proceeded with a little smile and a nod, took my danishes and left and have been in a foul mood ever since. What I really wanted to say was, "You need to eat less; you're too fat."
Pretty sure, had I said that, she would have told me to get the fuck out, and I wouldn't have gotten my raspberry danishes. I probably wouldn't have been able to visit said shop in the future, either.
But it's okay if she says it. Double standard.
Also, I feel like I'm the only one who still follows the rules. I think I should start lying and stealing; seems to work for everyone else.

I wouldn't continue to give my business to that place. Also go on Yelp! and/or their Facebook page and leave a review that says something like "Great pastries, but lousy customer service. Their staff actually insulted me!"
