Lately I have been practicing various poses using my timer cam on my iPhone. I'll rest my phone on a branch or tree trunk to take the photo; I try and experiment with different lighting.
Girls who don't have a timer cam app, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Technically it's still a selfie, but I see selfies as cheating. Especially if one is using the front camera on their phone.
Why do I feel this way? Well, because it's like the person taking the selfie is "looking in the mirror" when using front cam. Timer cam, on the other hand encourages spur of the moment/genuine poses. The cam even allows you to choose various countdown times, my favorite is 15 seconds :3

Your right i am guilty of selfies i may do this timer thing. This image is very good and technically a selfie. Good advice.
