Along 101 in Northern California it is not uncommon to find travelers scattered along the road. A few years back, I was one of those gypsies. I carried everything I owned on my back, and hitched over 10,000 miles across the country and along the west coast. Now that I have found my niche, I continue to live a free spirited life here in Humboldt. I am so happy that I don't work a nine to five job, but that trade off is living in a remote area with very little contact with the outside world. Traveling has taught me so much and now I look to SG for further empowerment. I seek to abandon the constructions of mainstream society. I have learned that isolation is not an effective way of spreading your lifestyle or ideals. I mean, you can't be an activist if you're not active in society type deal. Anyways, enough of my rambling. Let's redefine.
Last week @sper and I worked on another set. As usual, we laughed a bunch and shared new epiphanies. Both of us lead busy lives, and always have intense stories to share. Time and again when I visit San Francisco I realize and re realize how much I miss people (in general). Isolated is an understatement for my location here in the Emerald Triangle. As much as I love the space from society and guerrilla lifestyle, it's not something I can do or plan to do forever. After this year of gardening I hope to purchase my own land. I can deal with extreme living conditions for a year in exchange for this. I'll post more about my medicinal projects soon (:
