So, I have my in-ring debut in one week from today.
I'm down to 188 lbs and in the best shape of my life

but I'm also pale as hell.
Given that my character is an overblown egomaniacal "TV Ready" personality... I need to look better on camera- which means getting a little bit of a tan.
So today I went to the tanning salon in my gym and sat in a tanning bed for the first time in my life. That shit is fucking terrifying. Small tight space, sudden ridiculous blast of light and heat, holy crap!
Since today was my first session, I didn't really get any color, but just laying down the ground work. I'm glad they made me pay for sessions in advance or I'd never go back! But, it didn't kill me, and I'm not one to waste money... but jesus h christ that's a fucking weird experience!

Results to be posted as they develop. I'm Irish, German, Swedish, and Bohemian... so "tan" might be a relative term... we shall see...
