Went and saw Bad Religion and The Bronx with my friend Melo

The show was amazing and we absolutely got crushed in the pit.

Then I finally debuted my heel (bad guy) wrestling character for POWW Entertainment


That'll all make more sense when the next full episode of the company's TV show is out, so stay tuned for that.

Then we had my grandmother's funeral- she was 96 and mentally not there any more, so that was really a good thing, my parents had been laboring for years with trying to figure out what to do with her as her health and mind continued to decline, so it was a relief for them.

Then I went and saw Otep again with One-Eyed Doll and Picture Me Broken with my old army friend Liz.

Picture Me Broken was awesome, and we got to chat a bit with Brooklyn Allman (daughter of the Allman Brothers' Greg Allman) after their set


One-Eyed Doll was absolutely brilliant and reminded me why I became such a fan last year when I saw them the first time (more on them in a moment...)

Otep was just insane aggression and again I got crushed in a pit. Liz got cracked in the head a few times and split her lip, but had a blast all the same.

Then came the highlight of the night-

All the One-Eyed Doll VIP ticket holders went to Steak n Shake and had dinner and hung out and talked and told stories and joked around. I got to sit next to the singer Kimberly Freeman the whole time and we immediately started finishing each other's sentances and telling the same kinds of jokes, really hit it off. In short- I'm wicked crushing on her Wish I could go to the show tonight as well, but missing one class this week to go to the show was plenty I think. Gotta maintain the straight As.

Oh, and yes my beard is gone. Since losing all the weight I wanted to see what my face looks like underneath. Needless to say- the beard will be coming back!

Tonight is karaoke after class, usually that's the highlight of my weekdays, but it's going to have a lot to live up to after last night...
