Rollins was awesome! A 2.5 hour non-stop set of him just telling stories and talking about current events and just, you know, Rollins being Rollins. Some awkward moments, but he masterfully played the crowd regardless of individual ideologies and kept us all rolling right along with him down every tangent. I recognized a couple stories from earlier incarnations he'd told last year, but with adjusted contexts and different setups it was interesting to see the material in development. I had a blast, and was wicked thrilled that my friend Diana was able to join me again :-)

I get into a lot of the same discussions with people when I talk about going out into iraqi villages with people... everyone has these preconcieved notions about the people and their attitudes... and more often than not you find yourself surprised.
My favorite quote by him- "Knowledge minus experience equals bullshit".
